Subaru Corporation Announces Changes in
Organizational Structure and Executive Officers’ Areas of Responsibility
(Effective April 1, 2022)

Tokyo, April 1, 2022 – Subaru Corporation has announced the following changes in its organizational structure and executive officers’ areas of responsibility effective today.

1. Organizational Changes

- The Business Strategy Implementation Dept. will focus on the role of materializing business strategies. The rest of the functions that the Market Strategy Dept. assumed, including the role of developing product concepts, have been incorporated into the Product & Portfolio Planning Div.
- The Logistics Management Dept. has been incorporated into the Manufacturing Div. with the aim of increasing the effectiveness of its function in the actual logistics sites.

IT Strategy Div.

The functions of Connected Life Cycle Support System Management Dept. have been incorporated into existing departments of IT Strategy Div. and Customer Service Div.	Connected Life Cycle Support System Management Dept., IT Strategy Div.

- The Connected Life Cycle Support System Management Dept. has been discontinued and the roles that it assumed　in relation to the management of software updates and other service through connected technology have been incorporated into other departments; the planning function and the technology development function have been incorporated into the Connected Service and Portfolio Planning Dept. and the Connected Engineering Management Dept., respectively, under the IT Strategy Div., while the operational work has been incorporated into the Service Innovation Dept., Customer Service Div.
