The all-new Subaru Getaway, the fourth model in Subaru’s global battery electric vehicle (BEV) lineup, is a three-row midsize SUV that combines the unique driving performance of a BEV with a spacious interior afforded by the lineup’s largest body size. As its name suggests, the Getaway is about escaping the everyday, embarking on new adventures and discovering treasured moments with family and friends.

The exterior features a clean, seamless front design and a stately body, exuding sophistication and a striking presence. Inside, sleek horizontal lines around the instrument panel accentuate the Subaru Getaway’s airy cabin, designed for comfort.

Powering the all-new Subaru Getaway is a choice of two battery options, 77.0 kWh and 95.8 kWh, to suit different customer needs and lifestyles. The 95.8 kWh version offers a range of more than 300 miles*1, despite boasting the largest body size in the Subaru BEV lineup. Thanks to an onboard battery preconditioning system*2, the battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in approximately 30 minutes*3. The Subaru Getaway also features a North American Charging Standard (NACS) charge port.

In terms of driving performance, the vehicle is equipped with high-output motors at the front and rear for a maximum system output of 420 horsepower*4. Harnessing the motors’ ability to swiftly generate maximum torque, the Subaru Getaway delivers the expansive linear acceleration unique to BEVs. By making use of the technology that Subaru has cultivated, the Getaway upgrades every drive with a unique suspension and all-wheel-drive system tuned to provide straight-line stability and control on various surfaces.

With versatile three-row seating configurations made possible by the uniquely flat floor of a BEV, the Subaru Getaway combines interior comfort for all passengers with exceptional functionality. On the infotainment front, a 14-inch Subaru Multimedia touchscreen with wireless smartphone connectivity enhances both usability and visual clarity.

The Subaru Getaway has been jointly developed by Subaru and Toyota, with the engineers of both companies drawing on their respective strengths in technology and expertise of each under the slogan “Let’s make ever-better cars together.” It is scheduled for release in the U.S. market in the late 2026.

Subaru will continue to expand its product lineup, spanning BEVs, hybrids and ICE vehicles, to swiftly and flexibly respond to the constantly evolving market environment.
