< Production >

Domestic production increased due mainly to an increased output of the Forester.
Overseas production increased due mainly to an increased output of the Ascent.

< Sales in Japan >

Passenger vehicle sales decreased due to a decline in demand for the Forester as momentum boosted by the launch of its fully-redesigned version waned.
Mini vehicle sales decreased as sales of the Stella and other models declined.

< Exports >

Exports from Japan increased due mainly to increased shipments of the Crosstrek (Subaru XV) and Forester models to the U.S.
