< Production >

Domestic production decreased slightly, as a decrease in production of the Legacy, Impreza, and Subaru XV offset an increase in production of the Forester and Levorg.
Overseas production decreased, as production volume of the all-new Legacy and Outback models was controlled in order to ensure quality of new vehicles before ramp-up. (Production of the two models started at the end of July 2019.)

< Sales in Japan >

Passenger vehicle sales decreased as the sales momentum of the Forester boosted by the launch of its fully-redesigned version in July 2018 declined, which offset increased sales of the Levorg and WRX.
Mini vehicle sales decreased as sales of the Chiffon and other models declined.

< Exports >

Exports from Japan increased as shipments of the Forester to the North American market increased.

< Production >

Domestic production increased due mainly to increased production of the Forester.
Overseas production decreased slightly, as production of the Legacy and Outback models decreased at the time of their model changes, which offset an increase in production of the Ascent.

< Sales in Japan >

Passenger vehicle sales increased led by the Forester and Subaru XV.
Mini vehicle sales increased led by the Chiffon.

< Exports >

Exports from Japan increased as shipments of the Forester increased.
