Subaru Sponsors the 52nd All Japan Life Saving Championships

– Supporting Efforts to Protect Lives along Japan’s Coasts
through the Subaru “Cherishing Every Life Project” –

Tokyo, October 2, 2026 – Subaru Corporation will sponsor the “52nd All Japan Life Saving Championships,” organized by Japan Lifesaving Association (JLA; Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Takayuki Matsumoto).

As part of Subaru’s “Cherishing Every Life Project”^*1, Subaru supports the activities of lifesavers striving to achieve "Zero Water Accidents." By supporting the nation’s top-level All Japan Lifesaving Championships, where lifesavers from across the country demonstrate the results of their rigorous daily training, Subaru continues to contribute to raising awareness of lifesavers’ advanced skills and strong teamwork, as well as the importance of water safety and lifesaving activities.

During the competition period, Subaru, together with its local dealership Kanagawa Subaru, will have a booth at the “Fujisawa LIFE FEST”^*2, which will be held concurrently with the championships. The booth will showcase the “Subaru Lifesaver Cars”^*3 and panels introducing initiatives under the “Cherishing Every Life Project,” and will also host a hands-on workshop where participants can create keychains from recovered marine plastic, offering an opportunity for visitors to reflect on marine environmental conservation and beach safety.
In addition, the Subaru Group, together with the JLA and its dealerships, will conduct a beach cleanup activity as part of its efforts to promote coexistence with local communities and environmental conservation.
