Subaru WRX STI Scores Back-to-Back Class Win
in the 47th Nürburgring 24-Hour Race

Tokyo, June 24, 2019 – Subaru Corporation is pleased to announce that its motorsports subsidiary, Subaru Tecnica International (STI)*1, took the SP3T class*2 win in the 47th Nürburgring 24-Hour Race held in Germany from June 20 to 23, with the “Subaru WRX STI NBR Challenge 2019”, a racing car developed based on a WRX STI mass-production model.

This is the second consecutive class win and its sixth title in the Nürburgring 24-Hour Race for Subaru WRX STI. The victory is a testament that the Subaru WRX STI is capable of fully exerting its AWD sports performance on circuits like Nürburgring, which is so-called one of the most challenging tracks in the world.

Through its motorsports activities, Subaru and STI will continue to pursue engineering excellence to assure “Enjoyment and Peace of Mind” to customers worldwide.
