☆: Record high for the month of June

< Production >

Domestic production increased year-on-year as production of the Impreza and XV models for Japan and the Forester for North America increased, offsetting the impact of moving the production of the Impreza for North America to the U.S.
Overseas production significantly increased year-on-year, due to increased production capacity as well as the all-new Impreza’s start of production in November 2016.

< Sales in Japan >

Led by strong sales of the all-new Impreza (launched in October 2016) and the all-new Subaru XV (launched in May 2017), passenger vehicle sales posted a June record for the first time in 22 years.
Mini vehicle sales increased year-on-year, led by the all-new Chiffon launched in December 2016.

< Exports >

While demand for the Forester remained strong especially in North America, exports from Japan decreased year-on-year, as production of the Impreza for North America was moved from Japan to the U.S. and the Levorg and WRX models were at their model change timing.
