Comment on today's newspaper's report

Regarding the today’s newspaper’s report “Toyota Motor Corporation (Toyota) to raise Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. (FHI) stake to 17%, bolster tie-up," we would like to comment on as follows.

Since Toyota and FHI made an agreement on business alliance on October 5, 2005,
we realized the Toyota Camry production by commissioning at FHI's US plant and the OEM vehicle supply by a group company of Toyota for European markets.
We are now discussing the further collaboration; however, we have no information to be announced.
In addition to that, nothing has been decided yet with regards to the capital relationship.
