Led by strong demand for the Impreza, passenger car production in Japan rose year over year for the 12th consecutive month, posting an all-time record for the month of September. Overseas production dropped for the first time in 13 months. Global production grew from the previous year for the 12th month in a row, setting an all-time September record.

Strong demand for the Impreza drove the passenger car production in Japan to post an all-time record for Apr-Sep period. Overseas and global production figures also set all-time records for Apr-Sep period.
