Consolidated automobile sales, including both domestic and overseas markets, for FY 2011 are projected to reach 630 thousand units. This projected year on year increase of 67.1 thousand units will break all consolidated automobile sales records.
Domestic sales of both passenger cars and minicars are expected to drop by 9.9 thousand units as the diminishing impact of the green car subsidy takes a bite out of demand in the second half of FY2011.
The Legacy is expected to drive overseas sales up by 77.0 thousand units, with sales climbing in every geographic region.
