Looking at net sales by geographical area, sales in Japan fell 97.2 billion yen due to deterioration of sales volume & mixture that came as a result of FHI’s reduction in shipments for inventory adjustment purposes.

North America saw an increase of 3.4 billion yen in revenue as the robust performance of SOA boosted the sales volume & mixture and offset the decrease in revenue due to the loss on currency exchange.

Looking at other areas, net sales decreased 14.8 billion yen due to decrease of sales at our European subsidiaries.
