Looking at operating income by business segment, the automobile business saw a decrease of 29.4 billion yen in operating income, resulting in an operating loss of 14.3 billion yen, due to foreign exchange losses and deterioration of sales volume & mixture despite cost reduction efforts. The Aerospace Company posted an operating income of 2.4 billion yen, up 0.3 billion yen year on year, thanks to the increase of sale at both our defense and civil sectors despite foreign exchange losses. Operating income for the Industrial Products Company dropped 0.8 billion yen due to foreign exchange losses and deterioration of sales volume & mixture resulting in an operating loss of 1.2 billion yen.
