Video release – Briefing on Subaru’s efforts to reduce road accidents

Subaru aims to achieve its goal of “zero fatal road accidents in 2030” (zero fatal road accidents among occupants of Subaru vehicles and people who collided with Subaru vehicles including pedestrians and cyclists) by enhancing primary, active, preventive, passive, and connected safety technologies under its All-Around Safety philosophy.

The EyeSight driver assist system is Subaru’s unique core technology that underpins Subaru’s preventive safety.

On June 20, 2023, Subaru announced the development of EyeSight for manual transmission (MT) vehicles and its introduction in Japan on the Subaru BRZ (Japanese specification models).

On June 19, 2023 in Japan, Subaru held a briefing on EyeSight for MT vehicles, where Subaru engineers talked about:
- Efforts toward achieving “zero fatal road accidents in 2030”
