Update on Subaru's US Plant Operations Following the Midwest Tornado Hits
(As of November 19, 2013)

As previously reported, severe storms and tornadoes struck Midwest US on the afternoon of November 17, 2013.
The following is an update on the conditions and operations of Subaru of Indiana Automotive, Inc. (SIA).

[Extent of the Damage]
<Buildings & Plant>
Parts of the building roof were ripped away but the plant is by and large unharmed.

<Employees>
There have been no reports of injuries so far.

<Motor pool>
Minor damages have been found on some of the stock vehicles awaiting shipping.

[Operations]
In addition to the cancelled first shift on November 18 as reported yesterday, the second shift was cancelled as well.
SIA plans to cancel its first-shift production on November 19 to check the operation of plant equipment.
Future operation schedule will be determined in accordance to our assessment of the situation.
