· The difficulties in parts supply following the major earthquake in northeastern Japan are currently being resolved, but still due to the limited production, the domestic production for August decreased for the eleventh consecutive month year-on-year. The ovearseas production also decreased for the third consecutive month year-on-year.

· Due to the inventory shortage caused by the decreased production following the major earthquake in northeastern Japan, the domestic sales of passenger cars for August decreased for the second consecutive month year-on-year, and total domestic sales also decreased for the eleventh consecutive month year-on-year.
