Here’s our projection for the consolidated automobile sales volume for FYE March 31, 2010. Domestic passenger car sales will increase by 3.3 thousand units, with a projected increase of 11.6 thousand units in sales of the new Legacy which will compensate for the decrease in sales of other models. Minicar sales are expected to fall 21.7 thousand units since no new minicar model launch is in the works. Overall sales volume will decline by 18.5 thousand units. In overseas markets, U.S. automobile sales will go up by 6.2 thousand units thanks to a steady sales increase of the Forester. Sales in Canada will also increase by 1.6 thousand units due to good sales of the Impreza and the Forester. Since sales are expected to decrease in Russia, Europe, Australia, China and other areas with the exception of Legacy sales, overall overseas sales will fall 29.0 thousand units. Combined with the drop in domestic sales, a decrease of 47.4 thousand units is projected.
