In our consolidated automobile sales plan for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2009, sales volume of passenger cars in Japan will increase by 20 thousand units, including an increase of 6.3 thousand units of Forester and an increase of 23.6 thousand units of multi-passenger vehicles. We have no plan to release a new minicar model, thus we foresee a decrease of 16.1 thousand units in sales volume. In total, domestic sales volume will increase by 3.9 thousand units.
Overseas, sales volume in the United States will increase by 11.8 thousand units due to releases of new FMC Impreza and Forester models; Sales volume in Canada will increase by 0.4 thousand units due to the release of a new Forester model; sales volume in Europe will increase by 15.7 thousand units in total, including an anticipated increase of 9 thousand units in Russia; sales volume in Australia will increase by 5.9 thousand units due to releases of new Impreza and Forester models; and sales volume in Others will increase by 1.5 thousand units, including an anticipated increase of 3.8 thousand units in China. Overseas total will increase by 35.4 thousand units. When this is added to the domestic sales volume increase of 3.9 thousand units, the grand total will increase by 39.3 thousand units.
