The consolidated sales plan of the fiscal year ending March 2009, in comparison with the previous fiscal year, forecasts a decrease of over 10 thousand units for Legacy and Impreza respectively in the domestic market, resulting in a decrease of 7.5 thousand passenger cars, despite an expected new model effect for Forester, Exiga, and Dex. Minicars will decrease by 22.2 thousand units for all models in Japan. This is a decrease of 29.7 thousand units in total.

On the other hand, abroad, in U.S., a decrease of 4.5 thousand units is expected, with an decrease of 9.5 thousand units for Tribeca and 15.9 thousand units for Legacy, although an increase of 18.9 units for Forester and 2 thousand units for Impreza are expected.

In Canada, an increase of 1.3 thousand units is expected with an increase of 2.8 thousand units for Forester.

In Russia a decrease of 1.9 thousand units is expected, with models other than Forester decreasing.

Also in Europe, a decrease of 10.7 thousand units is expected, with models other than Forester decreasing.

In Australia, a decrease of 2.9 thousand units is expected based on a decrease of Legacy and Impreza.

In China, an increase of 13.5 thousand units is expected based on an increase of 15.7 thousand units for Forester.

In other regions, a decrease of 6.9 thousand units is expected with a decrease in the number of Legacy and Impreza.

Accordingly, we expect a total decrease of 12.2 thousand units in overseas markets. Added to the sluggish sales in Japan, the total decrease is expected to be 41.9 thousand units.
