| In comparison to the previous fiscal year, domestic passenger car sales are predicted to fall by 2.3 thousands units. Specifically, the Forester and Impreza should increase by 2.7 thousands units as a result of the major face lift, while the Legacy will see a fall of 3.6 thousands units with a further decrease of 1.1 thousands units in the sales of the Traviq, for which production has been terminated. Sales of minicars will fall by 16.8 thousands units due to a decrease of 16.7 thousands units for the struggling R2 and a decrease of 2.8 thousands units for outdated mini commercial car models. Overall we expect to see a decrease of 1.9 thousands units in total domestic sales.
As for overseas markets, in the U.S. sales of the B9 Tribeca are expected to increase by 22.2 thousands units while sales will fall for the Legacy and the Saab 9-2X by 17 thousands units and 6.2 thousands units respectively. Overall US sales will see a decline of 1.2 thousands units in total. Canadian sales are also expected to fall by 3 hundreds units due to sluggish sales of existing models. An increase of 3.6 thousands units is expected in the European market due to the effect of the major face lift for the Forester. Australian sales are also expected to go up by 1.1 thousands units as a result of the major face lift for the Impreza and the Forester. Overseas sales are expected to increase by 11.5 thousands units overall. A total drop of 20.7 thousands units companywide is expected, due in part to a decrease of 13.2 thousands units from declining domestic sales and the termination of consignment production for Isuzu.
