Consolidated domestic and overseas automobile sales for the fiscal year ending March 2011 is forecasted to rise by 96.5 thousand units on a year-on-year basis to total 659.4 thousand units. We are aiming for a record high consolidated sales volume.
Domestic sales are expected to fall by 9 thousand units for passenger vehicles and minicars combined due to a severe blow from the anticipated discontinuation of the eco-car purchase subsidy program during the second half. Overseas sales are projected to increase 105.6 thousand units with the expectation that global sales of the Legacy will remain steady.
