Net sales by geographical area shows a decrease of 4 billion yen in revenue and an increase of 0.6 billion yen in operating profit in Japan. North America saw a decrease of 3.8 billion yen in revenue due to the termination of consignment production in SIA. While operating profit increased 3.3 billion yen, the North American segment continued to experience an operating loss as it did last year. This was largely due to the capital expenditure made by SIA for the launch of the new models.
